If you fill your hopper every two or three days, this extension spaces refills out to once a week (M version) or every ten days (XL version), without modifying anything on the machine.
It slots onto the rim of the original hopper with no play or wobble, and the original Melitta lid fits back on top: no extra part to buy.

Installation
- Remove the original lid
- Place the extension on the rim of the hopper
- Put the lid back on the extension
- Pour in the beans
