Compatibility guide: De'Longhi Magnifica

The extension for the Magnifica keeps the ground-coffee bypass. Its compatibility is based on the reference of the original bean container (5513229521 / 5313219211), and the Magnifica Start was checked physically on a machine in a shop.

How to check your model

Compare your machine's ECAM reference with the list below.
ECAM 23.210, 23.420 and 23.450: DeLonghi fitted two versions of the bypass cover. Remove the small cover of the ground-coffee compartment: it should have 8 slots, a notch in the centre of the front edge and 4 lugs at the back. If in doubt, send a photo.
ECAM 23.210: compatible only if the serial number contains the letters "CM".
The Magnifica Evo (ECAM 290.xx) and the Dinamica (ECAM 350, 353, 358, 370) are not compatible.
